Tower Hall Architecture
Today I gave a presentation about the architecture of Tower Hall for my world history class. It took some time investment but was well worth the findings. I started by looking into CSS’s website and found a small amount of information on its construction, which was carried out from 1906 to 1928. After that I spent some time walking around looking for some interesting photos, which I came across when I took a pause in the middle of the 4th floor. It turns out the two towers in Tower Hall were built separately and if you take some time to look you’ll find some slight differences in each side: different floor patterns, doorframes, stairways, windows, etc. Overall it was a really interesting project and led me to realize some things I hadn’t yet noticed throughout my 4 years here at Scholastica. Its the little things that I learn from my Gen Eds that really help me appreciate my time here at CSS.
