    Zach's Bio:
I am a Senior Global, Cultural and Language Studies major, with a Spanish minor. I am also taking the prerequisites for PA school, which I plan to attend after undergrad. Due to my diverse area of study I usually have to spend quite a bit of time studying, but after hitting the books I can always find something to do here at CSS. You can usually find me hanging out at the rock wall in the BWC but as soon as the snow hits I take every chance I can to get out to Spirit Mountain. I’m enjoying life now and I’m excited to see what CSS has for me in the future!

Baños

Some friends and I went to one of the coolest cities I’ve ever been to in my life this past weekend. It’s called Baños and it is one of the most diverse and action packed places in Ecuador, not to mention one of the most beautiful. It’s a fairly small town about 4 hours south east if Quito while still being part of the rocky Sierra, and is a hot spot for tourists. We stayed in a super cheap, yet amazing hostel and packed our weekend with activities from rock climbing, white water rafting, bike riding, and I can’t forget the discotecas. The place was especially filled this weekend because its a national holiday, so Friday was off making it a three day vacation. The streets were packed and it had one the best scenes around for the night life. We also got to participate in watching Ecuador beat Uruguay in a World Cup entrance match at a local bar, which was amazing; everyone tossed their beer cups (plastic, of course) in the air and shouted for joy when Ecuador won. Such a great trip! Now time to catch up on homework…
