Career Services!

The other day I was in the Career Services Office talking to one of the counselors about my future. I had originally gone in because it was part of an assignment for my Dignitas class; but when I talked with one of the counselors there I had an eye opening experience. I took an online questionnaire that was supposed to help me figure out what I should do for my occupation. My intended occupation is to be a Doctor of Physical Therapy, but my results showed that a few other occupations would also suite me very well. My counselor and I met up to discuss my results and she explained to me what each section meant or what it was for. Part of my results was finding out my strengths and weaknesses and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to know those early on in my college! The career counselor also gave me tips and advice on how I can build up my resume early on so that it’s ready for graduate school. She, and everyone else in the office, was so kind and helpful and truly made me feel like no matter what, there is someone there that can help.
