    Tianna's Bio:
I'm a nursing intended major, biology/psychology minor and a part of the Honors program. In addition to school, I also work at McCarthy Manor as a CNA. In my "freetime" I like to explore Duluth, hang out with the girls, color, go to concerts, fish, hunt, enjoy the great outdoors, and spend time with my family and my boyfriend. I love Scholastica and Duluth and can't wait to spend the next couple of years here.

Save a Couple Bucks

Textbooks can be expensive and sometimes you don’t even need them. The CSS Bookstore is online and has a complete Textbook list. The list also shows whether teachers require or recommend a textbook for their class. Most recommended texts are also reserved in the CSS Library for student use. Check with your instructor about recommended texts before you buy them.

The bookstore now offers text rentals. In most cases, you can rent a textbook for half the price that you would have had to buy it for. Plus, you don’t have to worry about selling or storing your textbooks. When the rental period is over, you just bring it back to the bookstore.

The bookstore isn’t your only option for buying or renting textbook. Sites like Barnes and Noble and Amazon also offer textbook sales. I’ve found great deals on brand new or like new texts on these sites. Plus, they’ll buy your textbooks back. Just make sure to allow enough time for your books to arrive before classes start.
