What I did this summer…

So it’s been a while since I have blogged. One of the reasons for that is the busy summer that I had. I was lucky enough to get an internship opportunity at Essentia Health after about 10 or so rejections from other companies. The internship was fun and challenging at the same time, but I learnt a lot from it. I worked for three months in the Information Services Department, as an IT Technician. My primary role was to work on tickets from employees who would need assistance with computer troubleshooting and diagnostics. I also did a lot of imaging and software installations as well. Overall the experience was worth it and it prepared me for a real working environment and all the expectations. Apart from the internship I also had a summer class which took away most of my weekend time. It was a Literature course and it meant lots of reading and writing too! I can’t wait to see what senior year has in stock for me.
