O Holy Night

Many people on my Facebook feed have been complaining that we went straight from Halloween to Christmas, where did November go? For Bella Voce, however, Christmas started weeks ago. We have been busy preparing for our upcoming concert, “O Holy Night” taking place on December 9th and 10th at St. Michael’s Church in Lakeside. The St. Scholastica Concert Choir, Bella Voce, Women’s Chorus, and Mens’s Chorus will perform sacred and secular Christmas music that is sure to get people into the Christmas Spirit. I am most excited about Bella Voce’s piece “The Virgin Mary”. I sang a different arrangement of this piece during high school and I have seen it performed by Bella Voce in the past. It is definitely one of my favorite choral arrangements! I am especially excited because several family members that I don’t get to see often will make it to Duluth for the concert.  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online at spotlight.css.edu and the concert is free for CSS students.
