O, Holy Night

Last Undergraduate Christmas Concert ✅

Last night was the second performance of “O, Holy Night”, the College of St. Scholastica’s Holiday Choir Concert. It has been stressful, tiring, and so amazing as we prepared all semester for this event. It is so fun to create something that puts everyone in the mood for Christmas. My choir, Bella Voce, sang some really cool pieces this year. My personal favorite was an acapella arrangement of “The Virgin Mary”. We also sang a piece called “Gaudete” that had some really funky percussion and the song “Vuelie” from Frozen. The men’s choir sang a piece called “A King is Born” and it was my absolute favorite. The men got really into it and it gave me all the Christmas feels. This was my last Christmas Concert at CSS and while I’m relieved that it’s over, I know I will be missing it next year during the holiday season. Maybe I’ll have to come back as an audience member next time!
