    Tayler's Bio:
My name is Tayler and I was an English major/biology minor at the College of St. Scholastica! I have lived in Duluth all of my life so I know all the best local restaurants and hiking trails. On campus, I was involved with The Cable, Bella Voce, the Northstar Reports, the McNair Scholars Program, Student Support Services, and the English & Arts Club. Off campus, I volunteered with Mentor Duluth and enjoy throwing theme parties with friends and family.

London and Beyond

Myself and two of my best friends have been accepted to St. Scholastica’s London study abroad trip this May with the English and Theatre department. In addition to the 2 1/2 week trip that will feature tons of tourist sites in England, we are planning to take an extra two weeks to travel Europe as a trio. Following the CSS trip, we will make Germany our home base as we have friends and family throughout the country. During our time, we will make day trips and overnight trips to different cities and countries such as Amsterdam, Vienna, Nuremberg, and Cologne. If I’m lucky (and save enough money) I am considering scuba diving at a WW2 site as I just recently got scuba certified. I know this kind of trip could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience so I am doing my best to save up money from my jobs. In addition to that, I’m asking for forwards on birthday gifts from family members and selling my prom dress. A lot of people do go-fund me pages but I think I’m just going to stick with the old fashioned methods. I am so excited to have been selected for this opportunity and to have friends willing to spend the extra time exploring with me. Europe here we come!
