    My name is Tayler and I was an English major/biology minor at the College of St. Scholastica! I have lived in Duluth all of my life so I know all the best local restaurants and hiking trails. On campus, I was involved with The Cable, Bella Voce, the Northstar Reports, the McNair Scholars Program, Student Support Services, and the English & Arts Club. Off campus, I volunteered with Mentor Duluth and enjoy throwing theme parties with friends and family.

25th Annual EOA McNair Research Conference

This weekend I had the opportunity to attend the 25th Annual EOA McNair Research Symposium and Graduate Fair in Delevan, WI with the CSS McNair Scholars Program. I presented my research on the Still I Rise benefit concert and got to see all of the other work McNair Scholars from around the U.S. are doing. I made friends from New Mexico, Kansas, Michigan, and a number of other places. In addition to the research component, this was a great networking event and just a fun experience all around. I enjoyed the fall colors and (slightly) warmer weather!
