Post NPTE Celebration

Sunday, April 29th, 2018

The majority of the 2018 Doctor of Physical Therapy class just took the April National Physical Therapy Exam on Wednesday. Currently, all of us are very anxiously/nervously awaiting the results of the exam. It usually take between 5-7 days for the results to be posted. The exam is essentially what we have been preparing for over the past 3 years and will allow us to work as Doctors of Physical Therapy.

Registration Stress

Thursday, October 19th, 2017

I remember in high school when I would look through a sheet of paper with a short list of classes that were offered for the 2 electives I had space for in my already-determined academic schedule, and I would always get excited to choose which electives I wanted to take. Then, all I had to do was make a check mark next to the classes and turn in the piece of paper to my teacher, and a few days later–bam–there was my schedule for the next semester.

A Bump in the Road.. Or My Neck?

When finals week comes early…

Thursday, April 27th, 2017

While finals week officially doesn’t begin until the second week of May, it feels like it’s already arrived! Beginning tomorrow, I have a jam-packed schedule of final performances, papers, presentations, and projects. It seems like the semester was moving rather slowly and now the end is here at all once. In addition to the homework, I’m also making plans for summer work, graduation, and my study abroad trip. While all of these things are super exciting, it’s a lot of life changing decisions to make all in one month! I know next week and the real finals week are going to be extremely stressful, but hopefully London will be a great way to unwind! If not, I don’t have a job yet so I can nap for a week when I get back, right?
