First Finals Tomorrow

Sunday, December 20th, 2015

Tomorrow I have my first exam. Needless to say, I probably didn’t study as much as I should have. Yesterday, I studied flashcards for at least five hours, but I still feel it wasn’t enough. This final is Spanish 3101 and honestly just involves memorizing all the vocabulary and verb endings I never bothered to study the whole entire semester… Tomorrow tante exam is at 8 am and I honestly just want to get it over with. I feel that I’m lucky if I get out of the class with a C+. Tomorrow I also have a project final, but I have roughly 3 hours in between to finish it. I also have to finish my self portrait, retouch two paintings, study for Cosmic Sciences, and do a write up for it as well. I can do this. Somehow I don’t have any panic, just  a restlessness to go home. ONE MORE DAY. AND A HALF.

Spanish Class

Thursday, October 29th, 2015

Currently I’m in SPN 3101 and it’s killing me… I was planning on minoring in Spanish, but this class has definitely changed my mind. Although I love the Spanish culture, learning the language is killing me slowly. There’s way too much to remember. All my roommates are international latinas and I give them credit for being bilingual. It’s insane. Currently I’m studying for my Spanish quiz. I’m super nervous in one way, but the other half of me doesn’t really care anymore. I’ve gotten a C and D on the last two quizzes. I know I should care more, but it’s hard to put effort into a subject you no longer feel passionate about. I decided to switch over to an Art minor, which will require me taking summer classes. That’s going to be frustrating, but at least I’ll be doing what I want to.
