End of Summer Semester

Sunday, July 30th, 2017

My online class is DONE! I am so relieved to have completed another year of summer classes on a strong note. I think I’ve been taking at least one summer course for almost 4 summer straight! But that’s the sacrifice for the degree right?! This class wasn’t hard, but it was challenging. Computer coding isn’t a strong suit for me, but through virtual teamwork and communication skills I was able to learn a lot and to complete all of my assignments. I don’t know if I’ll ever use the skills that I learned in this class in my future profession, but that’s not the point, the point is that I’m a better person for taking this challenging course and that I am now more rounded in my education. Always take the challenge with an open mind and you may just end up surprising yourself!

Visiting home

Thursday, August 6th, 2015

When you live in Duluth and are from somewhere else, it can be tricky to find time to travel home. For me, I have to plan a week ahead so I can take work off. I finally made it home for the first time in about a month just for a couple of days. Living 4 hours away means that I have to plan with my work and online classes so I’m organized and ready for anything. With school starting soon things will be getting busy in Duluth as athletes move in in a couple weeks and friends start moving back as well.
