New Block of Intramural Sports Begin

Wednesday, November 6th, 2019

Block two of the school year of intramural sports began this past Monday with the advanced volleyball league. On Tuesday, co-ed basketball was played. Wednesdays are the night for the recreational volleyball league. The week finishes with soccer and tennis on Thursday nights. Intramurals are a great way to meet new people and to stay active, and it is all for free! I am a supervisor for soccer this block, and being apart of intramural sports has changed my college experience for the better. Consider joining a team at any point in your college career, you won’t regret it!¬†

Intramural Sports Registration

Friday, January 25th, 2019

The past couple days I have been contemplating whether to partake in an intramural sport this semester. I have only done this once and it was in my first or second year of college. I remember feeling challenged and not wanting to strain myself again, but I also had a great time and met some good friends through my participation. I played co-ed Volleyball! As registration is open for spring semester intramural, I have been thinking to participate for the last time at CSS (I’m graduating in MAY!!) If you’re interested in participating, visit this page and join a team! Here are some options: (more…)

Intramural Volleyball Playoffs

Wednesday, April 27th, 2016

Last night, we played the last games of the season. My team only made it to the second quarter after winning the first. We played really well, better than we did the entire season. I was quite happy to see how we had all improved and how we all were dedicated to doing well in the playoffs. We lost the second game and that concluded the chapter for us. After the game, I went home with a bad knee and watched a movie before hitting the hay, too tired to do anything worthwhile. College.

Intramural Volleyball Season Kick-Off

Wednesday, March 30th, 2016

Last night I was in the Burns Wellness Commons… not working out (goodness I barely have time to do that)… but playing volleyball …not officially but for recreation. I realized that since I do not have the motivation to work out (it’s just me) I might as well force myself or rather trick myself into doing exactly that! Intramural sports are a great and fun way to participate in sports without much emphasis on intensity and skill. Anyone can play and any team can lose or win and have fun either way.
