You learn to love it if you don’t already.

The air is crisp from the lake. You realize you’re in the city that embodies “fall” best of all. Take advantage of the nature around you. Walk, hike, bike, explore, get lost, and find new places before snow falls. Enjoy this time of the year. It will become your favorite!

The Proposal

Tuesday, January 19th, 2016

In January 2011, I made my college visit to the College of St. Scholastica. One of the things I was told during my meeting with admissions and the baseball program was that if I were to go to CSS, I would make lifelong friends and be a part of some of the most important moments in their life. Over the past 4 and a half years that statement has remained true.

Hartley Park

Monday, July 13th, 2015

On my quick trip to Duluth to move into my new house, my friend and I spent a few hours exploring one of my favorite parks in Duluth: Hartley Park and Nature Center! We brought my friend’s dog, Dakota, with us, too. She absolutely loved it there. Her sniffer was on high gear the whole time and she loved running through the steams and taking drink breaks. She’s a German Shepherd Dog and Labrador Retriever cross, so being in the water is second nature to her. After an hour and a half of hiking the Superior Hiking Trail through Hartley, we stopped at Hartley Pond to throw the ball for Dakota. Although, she was so tired from the hike that she couldn’t swim very well. It was awesome to see her so exhausted – there isn’t parks like this in Fargo for her to explore!

Jay Cooke

Thursday, June 25th, 2015

Tomorrow me and a group of friends are going to go on an adventure to Jay Cooke State Park here in the Duluth area. It’s supposed to be sunny at 70 so I’m so excited for this. I have never been to this place before and am always up to explore Duluth! If you live here you need to take advantage of all the cool places Duluth has to offer or else you will miss out on the whole experience.
