St. Scholastica Feast Day

Tuesday, February 13th, 2018

Yesterday, Monday February 12th, the college community gathered together to celebrate the feast of our namesake, St. Scholastica. The Benedictine Sisters provided us with donuts and kept us feed during the day with a free Italian Buffet in the Greenview Dining Room (GDR). Every year in the spring, CSS holds the Feast of St. Scholastica. Which means, for us poor college students, FREE FOOD. They also host a free meal in the green view dinning center which usually consists of Italian dinner of some sort. Very tasty if you ask me.

The Feast of St. Scholastica

Monday, February 10th, 2014

One way CSS celebrates its benedictine heritage is through feast day! The sisters took today to feed us students. This morning they gave out doughnuts, this afternoon was an Italian pasta bar and with parmesean chicken, followed by a dessert and fruit bar this afternoon. Last year was a german themed feast and who knows what’s in store for next year! In addition, 2 of my favorite professors got their tenure today! One of which is fellow blogger, Hong-Ming Liang. It’s a great Monday for all.
