You learn to love it if you don’t already.

The air is crisp from the lake. You realize you’re in the city that embodies “fall” best of all. Take advantage of the nature around you. Walk, hike, bike, explore, get lost, and find new places before snow falls. Enjoy this time of the year. It will become your favorite!

A Beautiful November Day

Thursday, November 3rd, 2016

Believe it or not, I’m enjoying the nice day outside, in November. Are my hands chilly? A little. But gosh is it beautiful. The side of Tower Hall that connects with the chapel has balconies on each floor. Some people study out here on nicer days when school first starts. I never really took advantage of them until this year however! The view is beautiful, I can see the lake, the monastery, the the theater, and did I mention the lake? What a gorgeous fall day. I had a book that I’ve been reading for class and I was determined to finish it up today. I’m so lucky to get to finish it in such a cozy place.

Corn Maze Date

Sunday, October 23rd, 2016

After being stressed out and not really spending much time together other than studying, my boyfriend and I decided to go on a fun fall date. We hadn’t seen each other for almost a week due to me being home for MEA break, so first we caught up over Chipotle. After Chipotle, we went to a corn maze! There’s only one corn maze in  Duluth, technically Hermantown, called Engwall’s Corn Maze. For a few dollars we were able to access the corn maze, shoot off pumpkin cannons, and chill out near a bonfire. We were there so late on a Sunday that there was only one family besides us there. The corn maze was kind of easy for us, so we just started hiding from each other and trying to scare one another. The best part was I had exited the maze and got on a deer stand to hunt down my boyfriend. It was a blast!
