COR Leadership Program Wrapping Up!

Tuesday, March 14th, 2017

The Cor Leadership Program commenced last year with over 80 students attending the first workshop. The program is open to all sophomores and includes six workshops offered on Sunday afternoons for 1.5 hours throughout the year. I attended the past 5 workshops and learned a lot about various aspects of being a leader in my community and in my own life. I recommend this program to future students and I look forward to applying the leadership skills I gained through the program here at CSS and beyond!

Reminiscence of the 1st COR Leadership Session

Tuesday, October 4th, 2016

This past Sunday I volunteered and helped set up for the first session in the Cor Leadership program. This was the inaugural presentation and the Dean of Students, Megan Perry-Spears, talked briefly about the program and the benefits associated such as learning new leadership skills. The first session was led by Mary Anderson, the Director of Career Services. It was about identifying strengths and learning how to collaborate with people with different skills and strengths. There will be 5 more presentations in the future, 2 more for this semester. Looking forward to attending these sessions and oh yes, the FREE FOOD -namely cookies and lemonade!
