“What did you do over Spring Break?”

Did you all get asked the same question in each class too ?

OH YEAH! We are sailing in the same boat. To be honest, I cherished a Stay-cation in Duluth with a mini-trip to Boston to see fam. I didn’t do anything over-the-top exciting, but I entertained myself with the joy of melting snow. And that was enough!

I did celebrate my 22nd birthday over this last weekend with my partner, friends, family and folks. Wasn’t a blast as some would call it. However, it was one of the memorable ones. I was glad to be reminded of how loved, well-wished for and missed I was by many. Besides the usual group chats and such, my phone lit up with a bunch of meaning personal messages from friends who I haven’t had a word in months . . . maybe even years!

As another year older adult, I decided to consciously advocate the ill-effects of stereotyping (oh yes, I just took it there). I genuinely believe that more than majority of the times, Communication is hampered and even avoided due to existence of Stereotypes. These stereotypes are nothing more than vague generalizations. In additions, most stereotypes, like iPhones, never got upgrades . . . therefore, even in the realm of appropriate  stereotyping . . . 21st century’s mankind has failed.

I strongly believe that it is up to us, the youth of the “world”, not just this nation, to make a lasting-impact. Therefore, I decided to initiate a difference this SPRING BREAK in the best possible way I can. What did you do?

IF NOT “YOU” . . . “WHO ?”

IF NOT “NOW” . . . “WHEN?”
