What a Duluth Day!

A gorgeous morning with radiant skies in Duluth was witnessed from the West End today at 5:05 am. Soothing chirping in the background made it almost a movie-like experience. The sun just starting to clear out the overcast…making its way through the clouds, while the cool breezy wind was swaying trees..touching my face…blowing my hair. I could feel the crisp in the air blended with the moist smell of mud and green grass…raw, new and fresh. After the showers and storms for the past couple days, it seemed like the earth had been washed off for a new cycle to begin.

After letting the morning scenery sink-in, I thought to myself, life isn’t all that difficult as long as you are alive, breathing and experiencing. Just the sun shining bright over Duluth after solid 7 months of winter in itself is an occasion to be cherished. Duluth, for the city it has grown to become, has a detailed and interesting past. The city is built at the bottom of a large lake, which used to be known as Lake Agassiz. The amount of glorious history has been diminished due to lack of interest and enthusiasm. Although, today, I read and learned more about Duluth out of sheer curiosity and found out some fascinating facts.

On that note, may you be ever curious, evolving and accepting. Happy Duluth Day!
