In my Legal Aspects of management class, we were assigned a Business Owner Interview project. All of us were allowed to interview business owners’ of our choice.

So my friend, Bryan Chavez interviewed his mate who’s a bio-chem major at St.John’s and has a clothing line business – NAJ. Bryan shared some highlights of the interview he did. I was taken by the concept of the business more than any other aspect. As Bryan described, Naj stands for an individual who is distinguished as well as an individual who overcomes adversity within their life. The idea behind the clothing is to make it a more than just something that one wears, inclined toward being a symbol to identify with. Nah, is a lifestyle that one lives by to be the best version of themselves. And to help with the process, and perform at your highest Naj is here.

The concept, in my opinion is really strong will resonate with a lot of minds, given that it is targeted and marketed properly. Some facts that Bryan shared was, that the owner is of this business has only o been a year into the industry and has been able establish a market base for the business to flourish. To add, I enjoyed the layout of their website that Bryan pulled up. It was simple, chic and organized. The bold logo is a great eye-catcher on the solid colors as the backgrounds. From what I saw and can tell, the clothes seem to cater toward being activewear, but they are comfy enough to be worn casually as well. The fabric looks high quality with great stitching.

It was amazing seeing and supporting a great idea that has more than just material value to it. I wish the best to NAJ and its upcoming ventures.
