Legacy Toys

Wondering around the Miller Hill Mall yesterday, I discovered a store that let me escape to a different world. I was essentially at the Mall to check out Old Navy and buy a pair of running or cross-fit training shoes. However, I had to make my way to Victoria’s Secret and get my hands on some of those elegant designs. Well, you can imagine after all that running around and mental work, I need to refuel before I did anything else. So I made my way to grab a snack…got a footlong sub and ate half only to find one of the treasures of Duluth (personal opinion).

I wondered towards the extreme end on that side, passing Famous Footwear is a joyful store- ‘Legacy Toys’. The name speaks for itself, the store offers a wide variety of board games, puzzles, constructive blocks, brain teasers and much more. They also have a hug ‘jelly beans’ section to pick out your favorites. They have classic originals like monopoly, scrabble, chess to more mentally strenuous ones like Risk and Stratego. They also carry little trinkets and small pieces that were ‘legit’ and only toys back in the day. The store was a complete block of happiness with such interesting and new games. The staff was super humble and helpful as well.

When having a day mellower or grayer than most, try and find your way to Legacy Toys for affordable entertainment and social engagement. I assure this place won’t disappoint you!

Hope I see you there some day.
