Colored SASH

Earlier today, I received an email from Natalia Miller, the Director of International Program at CSS. She was informing International Students about the availability of sashes that represent one’s country, could be ordered at a discounted cost (with OIP’s assistance).

I was super excited right away as the thought of being able to represent & honor my country was not only considered but made available at a reasonable price. This is a tremendously proud achievement to be graduating from a reputed University for many students, especially Internationale, since their stories and struggles are generally pioneering and inspiring ones.

I take huge pride in belonging to India, and would never let that part of me fade or separate away from myself. Hence, any opportunity to showcase the same with utmost respect and in the appropriate settings is simply exhilarating to me. I love to flaunt about all the beautiful and electrifying, yet unheard and unknown things in . . . about . . . around . . . INDIA. That being said, I believe other Internationale’s have similar feelings embedded within about their respective homelands.

I appreciate this thought of making the sashes available for International students in order for them to wear the colors of the Nation they belong to. So, to make sure you have your sash on May 12, fill out this Google Form before Monday, April 8 @ 8:00 am.

Hope all Internationale’s get their colored sashes on time!
