1st Annual CSS Fishbowl Winner – Zeboz Customz by Zach Edwards

An enthusiastic and talented student, Zach Edwards, from CSS displayed his innovative ideas at the 2018 Trade show. Through practical implications and direct analysis, Zach bagged the 1st place in the eyes of our honored judges-Jason Chavez, Molly Solberg, Brian James and David Anstett; and also got voted as the ‘People’s Choice’ award.

Here are some questions I asked to the young entrepreneur as well as his words of advice to fellow students’:

1. How was the process of formulating and then flourishing Zeboz?
– The whole process of Zeboz is something that I have been dreaming of for probably about a year or so now. I love shoes and am very passionate about how shoes can tell so much about a person. This being said, I have always loved the individualism in wearing a pair of shoes that is different from everyone else. Being that 1 of 1, being different in your own special way. The process has been very smooth so far, I have loved it all and am excited to keep the ball rolling on this. I have had so much support from friends, family and even customers now. I strive to keep improving Zeboz in any way I can, through feedback and continuing to improve as an artist and business man I hope to continually grow bigger and bigger.
2. What were 3 things you learned while building Zeboz Customz?
– 24 hours is not nearly enough time in the day to balance school, football and Zeboz lol
– CSS really cares and support their students dreams and aspirations
– The importance of social media and how important it is to get your name out there.
3. What did you think about the CSS Fishbowl?
– Loved the fishbowl, it was a ton of fun to share what I love doing with more people that have not heard about it yet. It was really smooth, everyone involved did an amazing job setting it all up and getting things situated. I would love to do it again next year and really encourage people to try it, it was a great experience for me to talk aqbout my product and spread the word even more.
4. A word of advice for our fellow readers.
– You can do anything you want to as long as you believe in yourself and have the mindset that you can accomplish everything. If you believe it, you can accomplish it.
– Ask for help. There are great people here that want to help you succeed, I have learned so much from the great professors I have had this year.
