Airport Nightmare
Studying abroad is filled with heart-pumping moments, and airport security sure is one of them. Throughout my study abroad trip in London, I traveled through the airports completely on my own. I wouldn’t recommend traveling through an airport alone, especially if it’s the first time one is traveling or studying abroad.
Today however, I had trouble with airport security. I came in from London and landed in Toronto, Canada. This particular airport had tough and fast security. I wanted to cooperate quickly; in all airports (at least all the ones I’ve been in) you have to place your belongings in a gray bin, essentially emptying your person. Basically, I left my wallet in this bin and went on without it.
Once I realized this error, I contacted a manager who retrieved my wallet in very quick fashion. I’m thankful no one stole my wallet.
