Working on Break

After high school, I started working for Mayer Electric. This is a company that both my parents work for and my Grandpa worked for before he retired. I was able to come home on breaks and work when I can. At my current internship at Mayo Clinic, I had a week off for Christmas so, I was able to go in to work for a couple days. I ended up working 22 hours in two days and I work in the back shop putting material away, organizing, and any odds and ends projects that they have. I am always appreciative of this opportunity since they are really flexible with my hours, I can come in to work whenever they need help, and they pay pretty well.  A lot of times I can ride to work with my parents, which is also very convenient. It is very hard to find work when moving from internship to internship every couple a month, yet we are responsible for finding and paying for our housing on each internship. Therefore, I blog as much as I can, and try to work as much as I can when I go home to my parents.
