My Last Days at FirstLight Hospital

The night before my last day of my internship, my Clinical Instructor, Erica, took me out to eat and get some drinks with a few others from FirstLight at Kev’s Depot downtown Mora. They has REALLY good burgers and cheap menu prices! I had their breakfast burger that had hash browns and a fried egg on it and I would definitely go there and eat it again. It was really nice getting to hang out with the crew after work. I finished off the night by baking oatmeal bars and writing thank you cards for everyone I have been working with.

My last day at Mora was great. My day was busy, but my other CI, Sara, took me  out to lunch to Downtown Deli (also VERY good!) with other therapists that we work with. They have really good sandwiches and wraps. We all said our goodbyes and exchanged hugs all around. I went back to my place, packed up and turned in my house keys.

Overall, I LOVED my internship in Mora and definitely could see myself working in a place like that. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and created such a nurturing environment for patients.
