Love Your Melon Takes on CSS Homecoming 2016
CSS LYM Crew members spreading the word about childhood cancer
This weekend was St. Scholastica’s Homecoming and part of this celebration is the Tailgate Party! This party consists of free food for students, a DJ, clubs hosting games, and a beer garden (for those who are 21 of course), and it all kicks off with the school parade! For the 2nd year in a row, my CSS LYM Crew has participated in the tailgate party and this year we had a “Cancer Sucks” sucker pull for a chance to win a LYM beanie! We also handed out LYM bracelets, stickers and buttons! Our booth was very popular and the hat was won in the first 30 minutes! Our goal is to try and get everyone to buy products and credit our school at checkout so we can earn donation events to give hats to kids battling cancer in our area!
