Evolve Duluth- YOGA

This past Friday, I was able to attend a Yoga session with my best friend Ally at Evolve Duluth. She goes quite frequently and our schedules finally matched up to be able to go together! It was my first time attending one of the Yoga classes at Evolve and it was a Yoga HIIT class. It consisted of:

  • 20 minutes of Yoga warm-up
  • 20 minute HIIT Circuit ¬†(do as many rounds as you can in this time)
    • 7 Push-ups
    • 14 Half-burpees
    • 21 Froggy squats
    • 28 leg lowering
  • 15 minute Yoga cool down

Needless to say, it was pretty tough and I was feeling pretty under-the-weather this weekend, but I would definitely do it again. It had a cool atmosphere about it and is a fit for anyone looking to try out a class. There is an app you can download on your phone called “MINDBODY” and it finds local fitness classes around you and you use the app to sign-up for classes and pay for them! It is a great way to stay active while going to school. They even have student discounts and monthly packages for classes!

A wintery welcome as you walk in the door
