Dog Sitting Gig

Remi- One of the 3 dogs I dog sit for!

Remi- One of the 3 dogs I dog sit for!

Another way I make a little extra money during school is by dog sitting. How I find different dog sitting jobs is through Care.com. You can make a profile of your available hours, qualifications and what type of work you are looking for in the area. They also have jobs for babysitting, housework, moving and organizing and you can set the distance you are willing to travel and your pay rate!

The family I dog sit for has 3 dogs: chocolate lab, pit bull and a pug! It is a great way to get a dog fix in while making a little money to help pay for groceries! They are a rambunctious groups of dogs that love to play, so it is fun to get them outside to play. I dog sit on an “as-needed” basis, so if the dog’s owners have to work late or go out of town, I drive over to their house to let the dogs out, play with them and make sure they have food and water.
