CSS Softball Internship
In 2015, I graduated the Master’s of Exercise Physiology program. After graduation, however, we are to complete a 400 hour internship to actually get our Master’s Degree. Since I started the physical therapy program at CSS about a month and a half later, I wasn’t able to complete that internship right away. My plan was to complete my EXP internship after I graduated the physical therapy program. However, when I started learning more about what we can do after graduation and more about taking the boards, I wanted to complete this internship before I graduated. I worked with EXP internship coordinator, John Dargan, to set-up a flexible internship with the CSS Softball team this school year. I am now the off-season strength and conditioning coordinator for the softball team. I started working with the team after their fall season ended this last week. We started with fitness and strength testing and doing an overview of lifting mechanics. I am excited to start working with them to make them stronger and keep them healthy for their spring season. I am also excited to incorporate new workouts into their training and become more active myself!
