    Patrick's Bio:
I'm a communication and psychology major, with a minor in music. I came from the wild west, and as much as I enjoy gun slinging and spittoons, my interests are generally media based. I love art and expression (I'm still a tough guy), and I hope my area of studies will get me into the world of entertainment and communicating, whether it be film, television, advertising, music, and friends. I love Scholastica and Duluth, and I'm excited for the future.

Music

So, I know I post quite a bit about the College’s music department, and to be honest, I was at one point a music minor (I may still be, but I got caught up in my two majors).  However, it’s important for me to note, for anyone coming in, that the music department was a huge factor in my deciding to attend St. Scholastica.  Particularly the drum ensembles.  My point is, though, is that Scholastica has a very thriving music department, with old and new faculty that seem to have a rigorous attitude and it really helps.  Just this last week they were caroling in the halls.  Every Christmas season there’s the “Hallelujah” chorus.  It’s pretty cool.  Also, private music lessons are a blast.  Check it out!
