    Communication, Psychology

    Patrick's Bio:
I'm a communication and psychology major, with a minor in music. I came from the wild west, and as much as I enjoy gun slinging and spittoons, my interests are generally media based. I love art and expression (I'm still a tough guy), and I hope my area of studies will get me into the world of entertainment and communicating, whether it be film, television, advertising, music, and friends. I love Scholastica and Duluth, and I'm excited for the future.

Career Services

For the love of Pete, learn from my mistakes.  Well, not really my “mistakes” per se, but certainly get on this as soon as possible.  Fellow current/prospective students; Do not hesitate to use your career services on campus ASAP.  The people are literally there to have a wealth of knowledge concerning jobs, job fields, how to best present yourself as a competitive candidate for jobs, and more.  I just went today for the first time, and it shotgunned me into an array of options (internships, connections, job opportunities) for when I graduate…which will happen in May.  So seriously, go talk to one of them, I was only there for an hour and eyes are now wide open.

Help yourself.  After you graduate, these services will no longer be available to you, nor will they be cheap to get elsewhere.  It’s pretty awesome stuff.
