    Patrick's Bio:
I'm a communication and psychology major, with a minor in music. I came from the wild west, and as much as I enjoy gun slinging and spittoons, my interests are generally media based. I love art and expression (I'm still a tough guy), and I hope my area of studies will get me into the world of entertainment and communicating, whether it be film, television, advertising, music, and friends. I love Scholastica and Duluth, and I'm excited for the future.

Ladies always be asking, “What do P Fischy do?”  Well ladies, it’s no secret…I’m a vital and integral piece to the community that is CSS.  Beyond blogging, I’m also involved in two part time gigs; Telecounseling, and Media Assistant, both on campus.  Telecounseling is the organization that called you on the phone when you were still in high school trying to get you to come to the college.  Remember that overly enthusiastic and bro-y sounding guy who gave you the mental image of constant high-fives and unwarranted encouragement?  That’s me.  I would have posted a picture of that job too, but unfortunately certain renovations are taking place in our office.

Then there’s the media job.

I like to take pictures that make you feel like I’m either putting a friendly arm around your shoulders or forcefully directing your head where to look.

Here’s me down in the media studio with my cohorts.  Please, if anyone from the administration is reading, note the cramped space.  Also note the size of the bedazzling going on above the windows.  In the back is Michelle-ella (names altered to protect identities) whose work eludes me, but from what I understand it’s important to somebody, somewhere.  The dude in the blue is Grant-ella, he’s a hard worker and has virtually the same job as me.  People often get he and I confused.  See how we both have beards?  That didn’t happen on purpose.  Once he stopped shaving, for some reason my beard just persisted as well, as if some invisible connection binds us.  Then there’s Brett Sauey-ella, the boss.  He thrives on high pressure, women, and Rockstar Energy drinks, and has enough of all three to make Jason Statham roll over in his grave.  And Jason Statham is still living.  If you can get a closer look, you’ll notice that all three managed to get their best “suspicious face” on.  Or maybe that’s how they always look when my back is turned…
