    Pat's Bio:
My name is Pat Bigaouette. I am a Senior Biology major. I run on the cross country and track teams at Scholastica. I currently live in Somers Hall as the Residential Advisor for Ground Floor North. Also, I am actively involved in Scholastica's theater program and hope to get cast in one of the four shows this season. This summer I conducted clinical research at Hennepin County Medical Center in the Emergency room. I also traveled to New York City to pick up a friend from school and, of course, saw the show "Wicked" on Broadway.

Welcome Weekend!

Whooo! Move in weekend for the first year students is tomorrow! Now hopefully, once school starts, I can get some sleep. As I have said before, the Residential Advisors have been working their butts off to get ready for the students to move in. After some very long meetings today, the Residential Advisors headed down to park point for some bonding time with Community Service Orientation, First Year Development Program, and the Intercultural Group. Free food for everyone!

After another long meeting and some dance practice (yes dance practice) the RAs put together a special treat for all the students to welcome back to campus. Along with a piggy bank, students will be receiving coupons to various companies including; Pizza Hut, Super One, Perkins, Dairy Queen and Great Clips. Maybe now I can finally get a haircut…

And what kind of college student doesn’t love free stuff? Along with a plethora of fabulous coupons, there are several events this weekend that will be handing out prizes…one of these events being “The Prize Is Right” (which I will be hosting, eeek!). Other events include; trips down to canal, all resident meeting (which includes a dance performance by the RAs), free movies and dueling pianos! Should be an event filled weekend.

Keep your eyes open for pictures from freshmen and all the welcome weekend shenanigans!
