    Pat's Bio:
My name is Pat Bigaouette. I am a Senior Biology major. I run on the cross country and track teams at Scholastica. I currently live in Somers Hall as the Residential Advisor for Ground Floor North. Also, I am actively involved in Scholastica's theater program and hope to get cast in one of the four shows this season. This summer I conducted clinical research at Hennepin County Medical Center in the Emergency room. I also traveled to New York City to pick up a friend from school and, of course, saw the show "Wicked" on Broadway.

Welcome Back Bash

Welcome weekend is here! All the freshmen are moved in and the festivities have begun. Today the “Welcome Back Bash” was held in the Reif gymnasium. Residential Housing Association sponsored the event by renting very large inflatables to jump around/play on, buying t-shirts for all the incoming students and providing music and cotton candy.

All of the freshmen had a blast last night at the campfire/dance. Most of them also attended a meeting this morning before running to lunch and the “Welcom Back Bash”! While there is no dinner on campus tonight, shuttles are running down to Canal Park to allow students to explore the area and eat dinner.

The fun will continue tonight with a school dance in Storms. I can’t wait for all the awkward dancing that will ensue…and hopefully some shenanigans will occur. Welcome weekend allows the Residential Advisors to take a collective sigh a relief because most of the hard work that resolves around training is over. That being said, school does start on Tuesday. However, being a Senior (and having no labs this semester), I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday. 😀 Hello four day weekend every weekend.
