    Pat's Bio:
My name is Pat Bigaouette. I am a Senior Biology major. I run on the cross country and track teams at Scholastica. I currently live in Somers Hall as the Residential Advisor for Ground Floor North. Also, I am actively involved in Scholastica's theater program and hope to get cast in one of the four shows this season. This summer I conducted clinical research at Hennepin County Medical Center in the Emergency room. I also traveled to New York City to pick up a friend from school and, of course, saw the show "Wicked" on Broadway.

Let Them Eat STEAK

After some car trouble, lots of last minute packing and a few pit stops….I made it to Duluth. Shoved everything into my dorm room and hit Texas Road House for some lunch. Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant that opened last year near Miller Hill Mall in Duluth. When sick of the Greenview at school, it is the perfect place to catch dinner with some friends (And even better when you snag a free dinner from the parents).

After eating as much steak as my belly could handle, I made an attempt to organize my room. I am currently a third year resident of Somers…the freshman dorm. Oh, the joys of being a Residential Advisor but at least I get my own room. Also, I did manage to recruit my little brother (who is now much bigger than me but I fee like he will always hold the “little brother” title) to attempt to push my queen-sized bed into my dorm room. After an awkward balancing act and some grunting I managed to successfully place my bed into my room.

While dorm life may be cramped, Somers hall is the closest residential building to the academic buildings which makes the mad dash to 8am classes at 7:56 possible. I am the expert at waking up, getting ready and making it to class in three minutes. All running aside, having the Greenview right down the hall isn’t so bad either.

In true college fashion, I’m working on my laptop at 12:46 am and I’m falling asleep, so you all have a good night!
