    Pat's Bio:
My name is Pat Bigaouette. I am a Senior Biology major. I run on the cross country and track teams at Scholastica. I currently live in Somers Hall as the Residential Advisor for Ground Floor North. Also, I am actively involved in Scholastica's theater program and hope to get cast in one of the four shows this season. This summer I conducted clinical research at Hennepin County Medical Center in the Emergency room. I also traveled to New York City to pick up a friend from school and, of course, saw the show "Wicked" on Broadway.

The St. Scholastica Theater opens “Iph..” this weekend. They start their run with a free preview on Thursday and an official opening on Friday. The play is a modern retelling of “Iphigenia in Aulis” which was the last extant work of Euripides. The play centers around Agamemnon, played by Shane May, who is the leader of a Greek coalition and the decision that he makes to sacrifice his daughter Iphigenia, played by Katie Mahocker. The decision to sacrifice Iphigenia will allow Agamemnon’s troops to set sail to battle against Troy. While the original play was written between 408 and 406 BC, the set and costumes for the St. Scholastica production are steam punk (Think Wild Wild West plus gears, metal, the insides of clocks and an obnoxious amount of leather). For more information on steam punk, check out this website: Steam Punk

Steam Punk Style

Cast members include: Shane May, James Merle, Nate Byrne, Joey Brueske, Madison Haeg, Katie Mahocker, Mariah Berg, Deanna Sell, Jessica Trihey and Christina Booth. The show also includes original music by Luke Moravec.

The  performance dates are February 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th and 25th at 7:30pm and February 19th and 26th at 2pm. Tickets are available for $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens and $5 for CSS students.
