    Pat's Bio:
My name is Pat Bigaouette. I am a Senior Biology major. I run on the cross country and track teams at Scholastica. I currently live in Somers Hall as the Residential Advisor for Ground Floor North. Also, I am actively involved in Scholastica's theater program and hope to get cast in one of the four shows this season. This summer I conducted clinical research at Hennepin County Medical Center in the Emergency room. I also traveled to New York City to pick up a friend from school and, of course, saw the show "Wicked" on Broadway.

Graduation is almost upon us! The class of 2012 will graduate Sunday May 13th, which is also Mother’s Day, so make sure to bring your flowers and Mother’s Day cards. St. Scholastica seniors graduate at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Typically the graduates wear black gowns, but because it is the centennial celebration, all 2012 graduates will wear royal blue robes with a gold stole and the centennial logo.

There are tons of events for graduates and their families graduation weekend. Officially classes end this Friday, but the last final is next Thursday. Next Friday, Scholastica is hosting the “Senior Send Off”. This is an event for graduating seniors that include, inflatables, snow cones, Famous Daves, a beer garden, and prizes!

Saturday night the college hosts the Senior Awards Banquet. Several graduating seniors, that have been nominated for awards, will be honored at a banquet.

Sunday, Campus Ministry hosts Baccalaureate mass. Graduates and their families are encouraged to attend. Mass will be held in the chapel on campus. The school is also having a brunch for graduates and their families and friends. Brunch will be from 10:30-noon in the Greenview Dining Room. Again, commencement will start at 2pm. A shuttle will be provided to shuttle graduates and their families down to the DECC.

Hope to see you all there!
