Space Movie Night

Tonight for Mayfest there was a showing of the movies Space Between Us and Star Wars: Rogue One in the science building. It was really kind of surprising how few people showed up for both of the movies. I could kind of understand it because there was a lot of other things going on but I think for both movies there were less than 15 people. The movies Space Between Us was pretty much how I was expecting it for it being basically and teen romance movie, so it was very cheesy. I was much more excited to see Rogue One because I wanted to see it back in December but every day while it was in theaters it was sold out in my town so I never got to see it until tonight. And with the small audience was especially surprising for Rogue One because there was only about 8 of us who stayed and watched the whole movie. I really liked Rogue One for the most part and it definitely worked for a Star Wars movie. The only thing that really bugged me was the ending of the movie because they really only needed like 5 more minutes to perfectly tie it together with Star Wars: New Hope, and because it was such a small difference it was kind of annoying.
