    Matt's Bio:
I am a member of the Saints football team here at CSS going into my last year at the college. I enjoy doing anything active, being outside -- especially grilling out with the lifelong friends I have made in my 3 years here. I work for Campus Rec and am also an Intramural Sports referee. I challenge you to come tour the college and experience the place that I have come to love! Please feel free to comment on my blog posts with any questions, especially about the nursing program.

Housing Struggles

We moved up the hill, out of the “ghetto” this year and with the better area comes worse prices. I live in a house with 6 guys, 4 of us football players, where we pay $375 a month with out utilities; for those of you looking to live off campus eventually the prices will be around this much, especially due to the property tax increase in Duluth this year. Anyway, 5 of us live up here this summer which is making it difficult for our roommate at home to get his rent in on time. My advice for future home renters that may foresee this issue is to get a joint account with Wells Fargo or US bank and just have everyone deposit their rent into one account and write one check from that account; makes it easy to see who has and hasn’t paid, how much each person needs for utilities, less bulk and money changing hands. ONLY do this if you can 100% trust the people you live with. ¬†Please feel free to comment back with any questions about on or off campus housing.
