    I am a senior nursing student with a minor in biology. I can't spend enough time hunting, traveling, or spending time doing out door activities. My favorite thing to do, however, is to spend time with friends and just doing whatever. St. Scholastica has been phenomenal in supporting me and expanding my own horizons. School and life has kept me real busy, but I never fail to find time for some good old fashion fun.

Capstone

A way that the nursing program allows it’s students to get a jump on expert practice is by the capstone process. In the spring of our senior year we do an additional 130 hours one on one with a preceptor in the hospital. Locations vary all over the state here in Minnesota and Wisconsin. It is a great way to end our time at school to show what we have learned.
