    Malvern's Bio:
I have heard that the average human being uses 10% of their brain's potential. Whether that's true or not, this blog is a mirror of at least part of my brain's functionality and activity. It is an outlet through which I share my experiences and escapades here at CSS. I hope that in between the mixed metaphors and rambling in my posts, you find something valuable. I have an overwhelming interest learning new things and expanding my horizons (which is why I am here). Wait, I just lost my train of thought... Welcome to my 'Pensieve' ~ thinking out loud..

Summer Reflections: The Internship

Summer is officially over (at least for me!) and Fall slowly rolls into the picture now that I am back in Duluth and about to start a new semester. This summer, I did a software engineering internship at Facebook as a participant in the Facebook University for Engineering program. It was great to spend a couple months in Silicon Valley, exploring the Bay Area, meeting amazing folks from all walks of life, learning with and from the best in the tech industry. Rumor has it I am the first student from CSS to do an internship or work at Facebook! But that’s just a rumor, and I am working to make sure there will be more students from CSS at Facebook or at other tech giants in the valley. You can read more about my experiences on my LinkedIn page
