    Malvern's Bio:
I have heard that the average human being uses 10% of their brain's potential. Whether that's true or not, this blog is a mirror of at least part of my brain's functionality and activity. It is an outlet through which I share my experiences and escapades here at CSS. I hope that in between the mixed metaphors and rambling in my posts, you find something valuable. I have an overwhelming interest learning new things and expanding my horizons (which is why I am here). Wait, I just lost my train of thought... Welcome to my 'Pensieve' ~ thinking out loud..

Free workshop: Building Your 1st Website

On Friday (tomorrow), I will be leading a workshop to teach participants how to set up their personal website or online portfolio! I partnered with Major League Hacking through their Localhost program in order to bring this workshop to campus. Here are the details about the workshop:

About

Interested in setting up your own website, but don’t know how? During this workshop, participants will learn the structure and syntax of basic HTML and CSS. Participants will receive a skeleton of a portfolio website and will update the HTML code to include information about themselves, their projects, posts, etc and edit the CSS to style and position elements on their page! Then, they’ll deploy their new website!

Beginners and students looking to set up a personal portfolio (e.g for projects, resume, etc) or page for their club, organization, or team are especially welcome!! Free stickers and swag will be available </>

Event Details

Location: Securian Lab (Tower 2420)

Date & Time: Friday March 2, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
