Computer Club: MakerSpace Trip
Today the Computer Club paid MakerSpace a visit. MakerSpace is basically a community workshop where people try out different ideas in creating. dismantling, renovating and editing almost anything that can be worked on and can fit in the premises! There were lots of materials which could have qualified for the junkyard but were worked on and made better than they were before! We were given a tour around the premises and learned a lot about basic things people do there such as 3D Printing, laser-crafting etc. I was most surprised by how they make extraordinary things from ordinary materials that were mostly donated or discarded.
