    Malvern's Bio:
I have heard that the average human being uses 10% of their brain's potential. Whether that's true or not, this blog is a mirror of at least part of my brain's functionality and activity. It is an outlet through which I share my experiences and escapades here at CSS. I hope that in between the mixed metaphors and rambling in my posts, you find something valuable. I have an overwhelming interest learning new things and expanding my horizons (which is why I am here). Wait, I just lost my train of thought... Welcome to my 'Pensieve' ~ thinking out loud..

Campus Ministry Winter Retreat

This weekend, I was part of a group of about 15 CSS students participating in a retreat organized by Campus Ministry at the McCabe Renewal Center. The Center is a short drive from CSS and the building has been around for over a century! At the retreat, we explored various ways to build community and improve our prayer lives through meditation, silence, and activities such as nature walks and story telling. This was the second time I have been to McCabe – the first was sometime in my freshman year!

I enjoyed being away from campus and taking my mind off studying a little bit! Moreover, I got to know and spend time with students I didn’t know before or that I saw regularly, but never really talked to!
