Advisement Week
I had an advisement session with my Dignitas TA over the weekend and talked about my plans for the next semester and how I am doing so far. I got to hear a bit of advice on selecting classes as well, especially General Education classes (which are required). Two days later, yesterday, I met with my Dignitas instructor, and we went over the class schedule and looked over a four year plan to see if I could plan out my classes so as to graduate on time. He was slightly worried that I haven’t taken any Gen Ed classes so far but we figured there’s enough time to take them all. Later on this week, I will be meeting with my professors in my field of study (Computer Science and Math) to talk about any other options I may have. Being at a small school has several advantages and they usually surface during this time when students have unlimited access to faculty and resources that help in their career path.
