Social Work Day at the Capitol
Social Work Day at the Capitol (SWDAC) is when social workers come together at the Capitol to advocate for various issues. This was my first year attending, as I had to go for my Policy class.
There is going to be a march, we are going to meet with elected officials, and there’s opportunities to network. It’s s must for Social Work majors, but it’s a good way to spend a Monday.
