    Lauryn's Bio:
I’m a nursing student with a minor in biology. I came from a land of flat cornfields and flooding, most commonly known as Fargo (yes like the movie). Although I'm from a farming state, I am a city girl at heart. I love being around people, volunteering and playing sports. I'm on the Women’s soccer team and a student senator. In my free time I enjoy bumming around with friends, attending school functions and traveling. St. Scholastica and the Duluth community are both friendly and fun places to spend this chapter of my life and I wouldn't change it for the world.

STLF Spring break

Do love volunteering?! It’s that time of year again when spring break trips start advertising for what they have to offer! I am personally the biggest fan of STLF (Students Today Leaders Forever). This group takes 9 days of spring break to travel across the US and volunteer! They stop in 5 different cities where they work with communities in need as far across the US as Washington D.C. At the final city you meet up with bus loads of other college students from colleges in the country! The whole trip is student lead and planned! The last 3 years on this trip I have made some of my best friends and developed some great leadership qualities while having the time of my life! I’ve traveled to over 15 states the last 3 years! It’s a great way to travel our country cheap, with friends, having fun, all while helping others!
