    Kathryn's Bio:
Hello! My name is Kathryn McCarrick. I grew up in Saint Paul as an only child. I am an Elementary Education major hoping to specialize in 4th, 5th or 6th grade. I chose CSS because of the vibrant and wholesome community that inspires me to be a better person every day. In my free time I hang out with friends, study and watch various Netflix comedy specials (Bo Burnham is an all-time favorite). On campus I am involved in inkeeping, where students can choose to stay with me in my dorm overnight, and the choral program.

Snow Snow Snow Snow!!!!

Last night it snowed around 6 inches on top of the foot and a half of pure icy snow. Most CSS students have two types of reactions. They are as follows:

Hurray! It snowed! It is so beautiful outside! Look at the pure white snow all over the ground!

Shoot. It snowed… It is so gross outside. Look at the thick, cold snow all over the ground…

My ESA dog on the other hand, is one step above the excited reactions. Fresh snow is his favorite thing on planet earth. So we strapped on his red and black booties with his matching red parka and headed out into the shin deep weather.

I usually only let him roam off-leash to run around and get exercise when most other students are inside or at class. This makes it so no one is uncomfortable (such as those who are afraid of dogs or allergic).

Attached below is a video of his pure delight and if you watch until the end he takes a very cute, snow-filled tumble.
