Moving out and Moving in
Sometimes with roommates, it does not always work out the way you had hoped. For instance, I had to move out of my old apartment because it was an uncomfortable situation for everyone. CSS has been amazing in helping first, trying to resolve room issues, and then finally moving out and into a new environment.
The first thing we did was reach out to Residential Life to see if we could talk out our problems with a mediator. This went over okay but still did not seem to fix the issue.
As tensions grew and grew, I finally decided to move out of the apartment because sometimes you can be friends but not work well in a living situation together.
Residential Life gave me a ton of options of places I could move into and the names of students I could contact to see if we would work well in a room together.
Finally, I met with my new roommates and we all got along instantly. So with dog in hand, I moved into a two bedroom in Cedar Hall and it is the best thing I ever did for myself and my former roommates.
